Sam started writing code for Drupal in 2008 when he took on maintainership of the Panels module. He has since coded, presented, and partied his way most of Drupaldom. In 2010-11, he led the community's migration from CVS to Git, and he is a Drupal 8 initiative co-lead. He currently works for NBCUniversal, and nowadays is finding himself writing as much Go and Ruby as PHP.
