There are a variety of mapping options for Drupal 7. In this session we will review some of the more popular modules and demonstrate how to accomplish some fairly common use case scenarios, such as:
- Putting the location of a specific node on a map
- Getting directions to or from a location
- Creating a single map that displays many nodes
- Filtering a map based upon proximity/distance to a user defined location
- Allowing users to filter content on a map based upon type of content
We welcome the audience to bring examples of how they have creatively used maps in projects and their own recommendations on modules and resources.
